After joining Living Ventures as an engineering graduate in 2003, Chris spent 10 years rising through the ranks - taking the helm of the multi-award-winning New World Trading Company in 2013.
Chris completed a Private Equity backed MBO in 2016 and has since grown NWTC to 25 sites across the UK with many more to come. Chris has built his business by developing like-minded people who share his values, and those of the NWTC team.
Named in the NRB Top 50 list, awarded a Catey in 2017 and recognised as the Rising Star at 2015 RROTY Awards, Chris is a proud CEO, doting husband and father… and a frustrated Everton fan.
Jim joined New World Trading Company as Chief Financial Officer in January 2019, having spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry. Jim has previously held roles as Finance Director of Pret A Manger and Yo!Sushi, and, prior to joining NWTC was CFO of the Azzurri Group (owners of the Zizzi, ASK Italian and Coco di Mama brands). A graduate in Modern Languages, he trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young. He lives in London with his family.
Matt lives, breathes, eats and sleeps hospitality. Having previously worked for Living Ventures between 2003-2008 as General Manager for various Prohibition & Living Room sites, he has decades of experience in the industry and brings a vast amount of insight into New World's every growing expansion.
In 2013, Matt joined NWTC as Operations Manager at the opening of our 4th venture, The Smugglers Cove and has since progressed to Operations Director.
He adapts to provide operational support throughout the entire estate and focuses on developing and mentoring General Managers and management teams across 20+ sites. One of his greatest personal achievements is being a loving husband and father to his young daughter.
Tim has 20 years of experience in property investment, development and construction.
He is a Chartered Construction Manager and has successfully led the NWTC roll out programme over the past 3 years and became Property Director in July 2016
Tim has previously worked in asset management, private equity, and development both as client and consultant which helps him to provide a greater understanding when approaching projects for the NWTC.
Natasha began her career in the Engineering industry as a HR Graduate, which provided a great deal of professional opportunity and room for growth.
After many years experience in HR Advisory, within the engineering industry, Natasha was drawn to the hospitality experience and joined NWTC where she started her journey as HR Manager, managing her enthusiastic and dedicated team.
Over the course of 2 years, she has progressed from HR Manager to Head of HR and became the first female member on The Board in January 2018 as our HR Director.

Sales & Marketing Director: Stephanie Lloyd
Our Sales & Marketing department define permeability; as the visionaries that fuel excitement and inject possibility and opportunity to New World. Their innovation and creativity filter into every department across the estate, inspiring others to follow suit and demonstrate who we are as a company.
Our Creative experts are the artistic hands that illustrate our marketer’s ideas and bring our New World to life; encompassing our vision to cultivate our brand visuals they hold the key to how our company is identified; both internally and externally.
Executive Chef: James Scott
The Kitchen department fuel our expansion. By creating new dishes and refining our world-famous classics, they ensure every guest experiences the very best of our menu. The artistry behind every dish involves a stack of time, a sprinkle of creativity and a topping of enthusiasm.
Head of Bars: Kelly Harrison
The Bar department are the all-knowing experts that drink, breathe and sleep our refreshments; ensuring all our guests experience a sensory exploration with the wide variety of drinks on offer. From bold and bright beers to intricate and curious cocktails, their exploration for new and exciting ingredients and their drive for excellence makes us extremely proud.
Property Director: Tim McCormac
The Property department are the foundations to our attractive venues; like the skin and bones they are vital and continuously strengthen our entire estate. They envisage a concept and make it a reality. They follow a project from initial ideas through to a picturesque scene for our guests (and teams alike) to enjoy.
Operations Director: Matt Bamber
Our Operations department are the navigators behind our company and quite literally the eyes and ears across the estate. They work around the clock to make sure our venues are running smoothly and to the highest of standards. Their eyes are always peeled for improvement and their ears are always alert to ensure our teams, service and delicious consumables are up to scratch.
CFO: Jim Pickworth
The Finance department demonstrate organisation and efficiency. Reviewing over 100,000 invoices and producing over 500 site and department P&Ls a year their attention to detail and professionalism can’t be faulted. They are the brain that is always ‘tick, tick, ticking’ away to guarantee our entire company functions like a well-oiled machine and together they keep the entire company running smoothly.
I.T.C. & Systems

Our I.T.C. & Systems department are experts on everything tech (and beyond). In a world where technology is forever changing they keep our world at the forefront, with the newest equipment and systems.
