Here at New World Trading Company we believe that we are as good as our people and that they deserve the best community, created by them, for them.

This one community is built by 6 outstanding TRIBES. As you enter New World, you enter your Tribe and with it join a community that will support your journey here with us.  You will be united across the country with all departments and characters that together create New World. Much like the mystical world of Harry Potter, your TRIBE can collect and obtain points throughout the year through various set-ups, on app competitions, acts of kindness, mystery boxes and other flash challenges. Winning the Tribal year will not only give you the right to lord your victory over the other Tribes (which trust me, is enough prize in itself) for the following year, but more importantly two extra days of paid holiday! That’s a 6th of you who get two extra days of relaxing and maxing. The pride? Amazing. The journey? Incredible. The community? Well, where would we be without them? TRIBES unites, solidifies and inspires, offering you adventure, victory and a whole heap of fun.

But nothing really compares to the energy of your first TRIBES event. The moment you get to your site with all of your friends, apprehensive for your transport to arrive to take you to this monumental event and the next curious location. You hear talk of past events as the speculation of the day builds up. You all gather round and try to decipher the cryptic poster delivered to you by the Tribes Elder before she exposes the wild activities of the day. As voices louden and conversation quickens you find yourself immersed in the feel-good vibes of TRIBES. Excitement deepens the closer you get to the location. As the bus slows down anticipation lengthens. The bus stops. By now, you have firmly established which of its members belong to your Tribe and your eager to find the rest of the team, prepped and ready to take home the prize.

Whatever and wherever the event, the feeling of family as you step of the bus is all around you. Whether your first event, sixth event or last, the buzz of chatter and friendly faces is always impressive and forever welcoming. Chief, the New World puppy, an excited, bouncing ball of cotton candy comes rushing towards you, as do hugs and excited New Worlders. Catch ups and colours fly around you as you settle into the day and prepare for triumph. You can see people throwing glitter on their faces to further shout about their tribe as they wear their colour boldly and with pride. You’re quickly taken aback by it all and are ready to join the community of a lifetime.

The energy of the day carries you through as you laugh, joke, compete, dance, smile, greet and meet. Tiredness doesn’t enter your mind until you are comfortably on your way home. The day is encaptivated by everything you were told surrounded by so much more. You never realised how confident you were to have spoken to new people or stepped forward for a round or challenge you never knew you were capable of. The support from strangers who quickly become your tribe is welcoming, supporting and reassuring. You are now in a community of people that are like-minded and infinitely accepting of who you are and all you wish to achieve. We are hired for our uniqueness and our individuality, but we are a united front of shared values, morals and aspirations.
