Furry Friends Welcome | NWTC Offer Dog-Friendly Venues

August 26th, 2018

It’s no secret that the world has gone a little dog mad. From photos of cute canines filling up your feed on Instagram, to texts from friends of their clever puppies - it’s clear that dogs really are man’s best friend.

The love that we have towards our four-legged friends is truly one of a kind. But what if our furry friend isn’t allowed to enter the same places you enjoy? There’s nothing more irritating than going out for a walk with your loving pet and deciding to make a well-deserved pit-stop along the way, only to find a sign outside your favourite pub saying, ‘No Dogs Allowed.’

No dog-owner wants to leave their precious pooch tied outside. You want to be able to walk into a welcoming environment where you can order your favourite drink, your pup can enjoy bowl of water and you can both relax after a big ol’ adventure.

At New World Trading, we have a special place for dogs, including our own company furry friend, Chief (you may have seen him on our Instagram or Facebook feed). For a company that prides itself on the individuality of its employees, as well as wellbeing - we’re proud to offer dog friendly venues across the country. New World staff members could not be happier to welcome you in and meet your furry friends.

The Canal House, Birmingham knows the love and sheer joy dogs bring to our lives. Staff see hundreds of people strolling along Brindley’s 35 mile Birmingham’s Canal network with their dogs - taking in the old and new sites along the way.

Whether you’re dining with children, friends, family and pets; each member should feel welcome. The characteristics that dogs can teach us transcends into our social lives and how we interact with other people. Man’s best friend can teach us to be ourselves, reduce stress, lower cholesterol and boost self-esteem. Allowing pups and dogs alike to dine and enjoy this venue is a perfect way to promote this.

We want you and your doggo to have the best experience whether you're visiting post-walk at The Canal House or just out for a family day and Sunday Roast at The Botanist. We know how much they mean to you because we know how much they mean to us! So, the next time you walk along Birmingham's canals, the Albert Docks or decide to take your loveable furry friend on a day out, remember that we’ll be looking forward to meeting you and your dog.
