The Botanist Serves Up Ultimate Night-In for Good Samaritan

February 21st, 2017

Popular Birmingham bar, The Botanist took its renowned experience of cocktails, live music and dining to the home of one lucky local this weekend – to conclude its Blue Monday campaign that brought a smile to city residents throughout the gloomy month of January.

The Temple Street bar and restaurant rewarded Nichola Chick from Tamworth with the money-can’t-buy experience after she demonstrated her own random act of kindness by baking blueberry muffins for her local bin-men, to brighten up their week.

As a result of her good deed, Nichola and five friends were treated to the ultimate at home Botanist experience with their own private bartender and chef for an evening, as well as live music from Josh Kemp. As part of the evening, Nichola’s home was filled with flowers from Unreal Orchids and a month’s supply of Elizabeth Shaw chocolates.

Harriet Giles, sales and events manager at The Botanist Birmingham said: “We know the start of the year can be a depressing time so we made it our mission to share ‘Tokens of Kindness’ with our guests throughout January, from free gins and flowers for guests to complementary Cocktail Masterclasses, worth more than £100.

After sharing her own #ATokenofKindness on The Botanist Birmingham Facebook page, we wanted to go one better and reward her with a night to remember.”

Located on Temple Street in the heart of the city centre, The Botanist offers an extensive range of botanical cocktails, craft beers and ales, as well as deli and rotisserie inspired food. With live music daily adding to the laid back relaxed atmosphere The Botanist is a true home from home.
